“There are in fact two things, science and opinion; the former begets knowledge, the latter ignorance.”– Hippocrates
Science to me is curiosity, wonderment, and that innate desire to understand the world around us. It’s fluid. Widely accepted concepts are encouraged to be strengthened or challenged, all through the use of a universal method (of the scientific variety). Questions lead to more questions which manifest a never ending supply of soul supplementation. But information coexists with misinformation and bias. In this section, I aim to provide you with the information in its truest form so that you may or may not formulate your own opinions about it, to truly educate yourself and prevent the ignorance that Hippocrates spoke of. So I have taken great pains to thoroughly research sustainability, climate change, and exactly what impact the food industry has on the environment, without immediately formulating the opinion that meat = bad. I also find it really important to find reputable sources that report unbiased information, links to which I will always include. Also, science is super cool!
